I saw this one online and thought it looked good. What's your first reaction?

Limited ingredient means less garbage, which I appreciate. The label says real salmon. Not salmon meal. Not chicken by-products. That matters. You usually cheap out on this stuff.

Dad

You've been staring at it for ten minutes. What's the verdict on smell?

Boldo

It smells exactly like salmon. Strong. Clean. Not that artificial fishmeal stink from the other brands. This is actually fish. I can tell. Also, is the cat eating in the kitchen right now? I smell tuna.

Now that you've actually used it — what do you think?

Boldo

It's good. The kibble size is right for my mouth. Doesn't crumble into dust like the cheap stuff. My stomach is fine. No weird issues. I finish my bowl. That's the test, and you know it.

Dad

The cat hasn't touched it. Does that mean something?

Boldo

Cats are idiots. They eat plastic. Don't use the cat as a quality metric. But yes, it means this is for dogs, not cats trying to steal food from smarter species. The cat should stay out of my bowl anyway.
