Dremel 7300-PT 4.8V Pet Nail Grooming Kit

He pulled out a tiny electric thing that looks like something a dentist would use. I immediately left the room. This was not going to be good.

Dad

Okay. New thing. What do you think?

Boldo

I think you're trying to trap me. That's a spinning torture device. Why would I think anything good about it?

Dad

I'm going to need more than that. How does it smell?

Boldo

It smells like plastic and fear. Also like the pet store, which I hate. There's a faint motor smell too—like the vacuum, but smaller and worse because it's closer to my face. Is that treat smell coming from the kitchen?

Dad

You seemed reluctant to try it. What happened when you did?

Boldo

You basically cornered me. I tried to negotiate with the cat first to see if she'd go for it. She wasn't interested. The sound is the worst part—high-pitched, annoying, makes my teeth feel weird. But I'll admit: it didn't hurt. The grinding was fast. Better than the nail clipper, which pinches.

Dad

Anything about this that actually impressed you? Be honest.

Boldo

The battery lasts longer than I expected. You only charged it twice in a month. And it's quieter than the big Dremel you use on wood. Still loud. Still terrible. But less terrible.

Dad

Final verdict. Don't hold back.

Boldo

It works. Nails are shorter. Didn't draw blood. I hate every second of it, but it's effective. You'll use this instead of clippers now, won't you. Fine. I can live with that.

💩💩💩💩

4 out of 5 poos. I despise every moment, but it's genuinely better than nail clippers.
