Simple Solution Extreme Pet Stain and Odor Remover
You brought home a bottle that smells like a hospital had a baby with a lemon. I don't trust it yet, but I'm watching.
Dad
Okay. New thing. What do you think?
Boldo
It's a bottle. It's purple. I assume you're going to spray it somewhere I had an accident, which means you're planning to make the evidence disappear. I respect the strategy.
Dad
I'm going to need more than that. How does it smell?
Boldo
Chemical. Sharp. Not natural. Definitely not appetizing, which is probably the point since the last thing you want is me trying to eat the floor again. It's got that enzyme-cleaner smell that sticks to your nasal passages for hours. Not pleasant. Not terrible.
Dad
You seemed reluctant to try it. What happened when you did?
Boldo
You sprayed it on that spot by the couch. The one I'm not proud of. The smell hit firstβthat chemical thing againβbut then something else kicked in underneath. The old smell was actually gone. Like, completely gone. I stood there for five minutes trying to track it and couldn't. Is there any chance you have a treat in your pocket right now? I'm getting distracted. Anyway, it works.
Dad
Anything about this that actually impressed you? Be honest.
Boldo
Fine. Yes. You know how usually after you clean something, I can still smell the original problem underneath? Not with this. It's like you erased it. The smell doesn't come back either. I've been checking. Also the cat walked over it and didn't hiss or refuse to come back, so apparently it's not toxic. That matters to me, obviously not for the cat's benefit.
Dad
Final verdict. Don't hold back.
Boldo
It does what it claims to do without any games. The smell is aggressive when you first spray it, but it fades and takes everything else with it. I didn't enjoy the process, but I can't argue with the results. You can use this without me pretending to leave the room, which is my way of saying it's fine. Just fine.
